The finals of the Forestside Young Singer Songwriter Competition took place at the end of November in the Errigle Inn, Belfast.  The judges for the day were Mairead Campbell from BBC Radio 1, Wilfie an established artist from Northern Ireland and Singer Songwriter Aidan Logan.

The standard of performance this year was exceptional and choosing an overall winner from each age category wasn’t an easy task.

The Under 17 finalists were: 

With the winner announced as Muireann on the day.

The Under 20 finalists were: 

Amy, Courtney, Owen and Zoe

Owen was named as the Under 20 Winner of the Forestside Young Singer Songwriter Competition.
