The worst kept secret in South Belfast was finally revealed on Thursday 8th May when H&M opened in Forestside.

The excitement was palpable as almost 300 people queued up ahead of the 11am opening, and they were not disappointed as they all received wristbands giving 25% off all purchases on that day and many picked up a much sought after goodie bag as well.

H&M is a design-driven, innovative and responsible fashion company guided by strong values, quality and sustainability.They currently have 245 stores across the UK and Republic of Ireland and continue to expand. Forestside is the ninth H&M store to open in Northern Ireland and has created around 30 new full and part time jobs. The store has 1000+ square metres of sales space and is spread over 3 previous units also incorporating a new mezzanine level similar to the new Next store. It has created a bright, airy merchandising space displaying their clothing ranges for women, men, teens and children.

The use of high profile celebrities such as David Beckham and Giselle to front their marketing campaigns keeps H&M at the forefront of high street fashion sales and their no nonsense value for money strategy has cemented their position as a brand leader. They continue to go from strength to strength within the UK market and we are delighted to welcome them to Forestside.
