Forestside Food Fest is like no other food festival, ours is a celebration of the best of local produce transformed into all sorts of deliciousness by amateur and professional chefs. With regular demos from our professional kitchen on mall, competitions, cook offs, local artisan suppliers and tastings of the best around this season. This extravaganza will be led by Forestside Cookery School owner and Forestside chef Stephen Jeffers and his team. With the help of his guest chefs there will be something different every day to broaden your horizons and tantalise your taste buds.

Take a look at this year's schedule:

Friday 11th November: Launch Day. Chef Stephen Jeffers and his team will kick off the Food Fest live on mall with demos from 1pm. 

Saturday 12th November: Sainsbury's #littletwists Live demos from Sainsbury's and featuring cook-offs with Q Radio's Stephen Clements and Cate Conway.

Sunday 13th November: Asian Flavours. Chef Stephen Jeffers and guest chefs present the tastes of Thailand, Japan and India.

Monday 14th November: Amateur Chef Challenge. Amateur chefs compete live on mall for the title of Amateur Chef of the Year.

Tuesday 15th November: Live final for Young Professional Chef of the Year.

Wednesday 16th November: Young Chef Challenge. Local pupils will compete live on mall for the title of Young Chef of the Year.

Thursday 17th November: Café Culture: Join Graffitti and The Edible Flower and celebrate NI's thriving café culture. 

Friday 18th November: Stephen's Street Food. Chef Stephen Jeffers and local vendors celebrate the best of street food. 

Saturday 19th November: M&S presents... Live demos from Chef Stephen Jeffers and guest chefs from Linden Foods.

Sunday 20th November: Sunday Brunch. Chef Stephen Jeffers and friends demonstrate how to make the perfect Sunday brunch.
