Do you want to hear the two piece, instrumental powerhouse that The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft described as “Top”? The duo that are so good John Belushi came back from the dead to like one of their Instagram posts? (Genuinely True Story). Then look no further than the “STRING NINJAS”.

The String Ninjas are none other than Belfast’s own Gavin Ferris (fingerstyle acoustic guitar) and Mick Conlon (electric violin). Since their initial conception in 2017 the pair have steam rolled their way to the top of Belfast’s live music scene and have been wowing audiences with their energetic, fresh, live performance filled with their original takes on some of the worlds most loved and best known songs. You can expect hard hitting base, flashy solos, grooving rhythm and every genre of music from Motown to Rock, Pop to Dance, Classical to Folk and everything in between. All this is served with a healthy dollop of some top class Northern Irish banter and the occasional terrible dad joke.

2019 was definitely the making of the Ninjas, with a successful festival season under their belt, as well as their own concept show “Synesthesia” selling out the Crescent Arts Centre! 

The String Ninjas are a definite must see for both musicians and punters alike and are ones to watch for 2020 and beyond.
