Róise McHugh an exceptionally talented 15 year old singer songwriter who plays both Ukelele, violin and piano, not surprisingly as she comes from a family of classical musicians.
She became known to Forestside when she became the latest winner of the Forestside Under 17 Singer Songwriter Competition with 'One of Those Days' and this win seen her perform at the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Convention 2019.
Just a few months previous to this she had written another song 'Underlie' which she performed at Dublins Croke Park and was awarded the best songwriter in the Irish Youth Music Awards.
Róise is currently recording a single in The Gatehouse Studios and plans to work with the Zomerhof Studios under the Forestside Artist Development Programme. She's definately one to watch out for in the not to distant future.
