Owen is an 18 year old singer songwriter from the Four Winds. He started singing from a young age and has moved through different genres of music in his singing and playing of instruments too. His own music attempts to combine piano with contemporary, much like Billy Joel or Elton John, who are two of his biggest inspirations. Owen’s original music attempts to tackle issues that people struggle to talk about, such as Anxiety and Mental health. He feels these are issues that need to be put in the open air and that music is the best way to do that.  Owen is often found on the mall at Forestside or on the streets of Belfast busking and is hoping to reach some more regular gigs soon. After leaving School in 2018, he is following his dream of pursuing his music full time and is excited for what the future holds.
