Lucy Bell

Artist Bio

Hailing from Downpatrick in County Down, Lucy Bell, a singer/songwriter still in her teens, has taken the first steps on her musical journey.  With the help of her brother she began her adventure from her bedroom.  Her voice takes you on a journey from the gentlest soothing whisper through to the power that belies her age.

She brings enthusiasm and energy to her unique take on an alternative folk sound with pop leanings.  Writing memorable songs with great lyrics and melody which paint a picture that not only capture your attention but draw you in and connect.  Lucy continues to  learn her craft playing in local venues and charity events.  She also came runner up in the 2016 Forestside/Panarts under 19 songwriters competition which got her a place playing at Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival supporting Grammy Award winner Mac McAnally.  Lucy has featured on Irish TV and local radio stations Cool FM, BBC Radio Ulster and Belfast 89FM and she has supported Anthony Toner, Sam Wickens as well as having played alongside Triona  in an 'In The Round'.

Plans are underway for her debut EP in late 2017/early 2018.
