Jonny Hammond is a 19-year-old singer songwriter from the Ards Peninsula.  Jonny first came to the attention of Forestside when he entered the Forestside Young Singer Songwriter Competition of which he went on to become the winner of the Under 20 Competition.

From the competition Jonny has went on to play at many festivals such as East Side Arts, Belfast Nashville Songwriters Convention, Sunflower and Dalriada. 

He is featured on the Irish Youth Music Awards Live Album of 2018 with his original track ‘When I’m 70’ while his latest accomplishment was to be awarded the winner of The Great Belfast Busk Off 2019.
