Ben Cutler
Artist Bio
Ben Cutler is a 16 year old singer songwriter from Belfast. He began playing at the age of 10 and quickly became comfortable on stage in front of all sizes of audiences. At 12 he entered and won the U/16 category @ Banbridge Buskfest and then went on to be one of the youngest performers at the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival. In 2016 he entered and featured in the top 10 U12 UK Song Academy Songwriters competition and performed at their winners showcase in Westfield, London. The judges said: ” Yeah! what an energy.. keep writing!” Tom Odell; “I really like the common conversational touch in the lyrics and the fact that I can feel someone communicating in a lively way with me.” Eg White; “This is a boy in love with his guitar! In 2018 Ben launched his first EP "On Target" at his 3rd Belfast Nashville Songwriters festival. Later that year he played the Holywood Harmony Festival, Sunflowerfest and Eastside Arts Festival. In June 2018 Ben entered and won the overall prize at the Banbridge Buskfest at the age of only 14 alongside over 200 other talented buskers
Later that year & again in 2019 Ben performed to his biggest crowd supporting Sean & Conor Price at the Waterfront Hall, Belfast and Millennium Forum Derry/Londonderry.
In 2019 Ben released "Hold On" and launched it at his first headline gig at McHugh’s Belfast as part of the 15th Annual Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival. Two more singles are due for release very shortly.
